Ayla Oasis Partners with JAAC

Aqaba - Jordan, 7 Aug 2016 - Ayla Oasis Development Company (Ayla), a leading tourism and real estate development company in the Kingdom of Jordan, signed an agreement with the Jordan Air Ambulance Center (JAAC) to provide homeowners and employees at the state-of-the-art Ayla project with emergency medical and air ambulance services.

The partnership was signed by Sahl Dudin, Managing Director of Ayla and Rami Adwan, CEO of JAAC. To mark the official start of synergies, a fully equipped, cutting-edge JAAC helicopter landed on Dock C, the designated landing slot at the Ayla project. Senior Ayla officials welcomed the helicopter at the newly unveiled landing pad.

Established in 2015 by Royal directive from His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan, JAAC has emerged as a specialized center for patient transfer, rescue, and airlift ambulance services for wounded persons and patients from remote areas of the country to Amman’s hospitals and medical centers. JAAC aims to ensure excellence and speed of service, while also administering emergency healthcare if required.

Sahl Dudin, Managing Director of Ayla, said: “This agreement surpasses our expectations and those of our customers, marking a new milestone for Ayla. We have launched the operational phase of our project and moved on from the construction stage. This new venture also articulates our keenness to offer best-in-class contingency services to our vast and growing Ayla community including homeowners and employees - through proactively working to ensure optimal healthcare solutions and superior ambulance services. In addition, the agreement reinforces our sustained commitment to join hands with national initiatives that seek to deliver a better quality of life to all Jordanians.”

The agreement with JAAC follows the handover of the luxurious 150-unit Island Apartments within Marina District by Ayla to homeowners. In its next stage of development, the Ayla project will witness the opening of its main community beach clubs.

For his part, Rami Adwan, CEO at JAAC stated that the partnership is an important stepping stone for both entities, and is reflective of the deep commitment they share in delivering the best possible services to the community.

Ayla is recognized for its superiority within the industry offering a full range of upscale urban living solutions complete with a variety of amenities.  The development will help shape the continued growth of the Gulf of Aqaba and articulate the vision of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASAZA) to transform the seaport into a definitive business and travel destination.
